The Stawell and Grampians Visitor Information Centre is conveniently located on the Western Highway.

Stawell is just 20 minutes from the Grampians and is one of the major tourism regions of Victoria. Stawell is most famous for the world's richest footrace, The Stawell Gift, held every year at Easter.

Attractions of interest in Stawell include the Ironbark Forest, Stawell Gift Hall of Fame, Central Park, Big Hill Lookout, several small Art Galleries and the Leisure Centre. Not to be missed is the Stawell Cultural Heritage Trail.
