The Leo Smoke and Spirits
There is plenty of smoke heading to the Grampians this Father's Day weekend, and The Leopold Hotel in Ararat is getting in on the action.
As part of the Grampians BBQ Festival weekend, The Leo will be pouring a limited-edition Smoked Negroni, made with Gallivanter Gin from Ballarat's Itinerant Spirits, from Friday through to Sunday. Gallivanter is a wild botanical gin made in Western Victoria using native botanicals foraged from the Grampians, bringing a distinctly local flavour to this smoky festival cocktail.
Then on Father's Day Sunday, The Leo kitchen crew will turn up the heat with a festival-only barbecue special, made especially for Dad and available for the whole day. Stop in on your way through Ararat, settle in for lunch or dinner and enjoy a taste of the Grampians BBQ Festival trail at the Leo.
