Targa Classica is Australia's premier four-day motoring event, inspired by the Mille Miglia and Targa Florio and blending classic motorsport tradition with modern lifestyle experiences.
Across more than 1,200 kilometres of scenic roads, competitors and co-drivers contest a regularity rally that rewards precision, teamwork and strategy. The field spans two categories, Classica (1906 to 1976) and Legend (1976 to present), bringing together historic icons and contemporary performance cars in a rolling celebration of automotive heritage.
Beyond the competition, it's a festival of driving, culture and community, with stages flowing into regional towns where local food, wine and hospitality create memorable connections. As part of this year's program, a public car showing will take place along Adams Street in Dunkeld, inviting enthusiasts, families and curious onlookers to get up close to the cars, meet the crews and soak up the atmosphere.
