The best way to see St Arnaud and experience its magic for yourself is to enjoy the trail of wall murals as well as the silo art that forms part of the Wimmera Mallee Silo Art Trail; Australia's largest outdoor gallery.

There are many locations of public art around town, all created by Kyle Torney, a talented local 'narrative portraiture' artist. His pieces feature images of people to amplify powerful, untold stories about those who have made St Arnaud what it is today.

The crowning glory of the trail is the silo piece titled 'Hope'. The mural is so large it spans two silos and illustrates St Arnaud's gold mining history. The design was chosen in collaboration with residents of the town.
