Lake Bellfield is located 5kms from the main shops in Halls Gap. It is known to be a popular tourist spot with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and reflective waters. The lake is also a great venue for swimmers and welcomes picnickers to enjoy a peaceful place to sit back and enjoy the scenery. The lake is used for recreational activities such as swimming, boating, fishing and picnicking. The lake serves as the local water supply, therefore only electric motors are permitted.
