Backyard Utopia present a varied and engaging repertoire of globally inspired folk music.
Traditional songs, upbeat ballads and hypnotic instrumental interludes - these tuneful raconteurs deliver a refreshing and uplifting show with the occasional surprise.
Bec and Jamie's music draws connections between the ancient west African instruments Kora and Kamelngoni and their modern counterparts banjo and bass, in ways both new and old, soulful and giddy.
