Displaying a collection of light horse memorabilia, much of which graciously bequeathed by the (late) Ian Jones.

Ian Jones was an author, expert Ned Kelly historian, Australian screen and television writer and director (including that of ‘The Lighthorsemen’ film 1987).

The Australian Light Horse and Heritage Collected owner Dave, now has the honour of displaying these precious items for the public to admire. Transcribes reveal a fascinating account of the remarkable journey our fellow troopers undertook and displays include a tunic from a Charger at Beersheba and another tunic from a 4th Light Horse Regiment member illustrated in Ian’s book, A Thousand Miles of Battles.
