The Journey

Start your adventure at Seymour, Southern Cross, or North Shore stations, and journey along the scenic route towards Adelaide. Take in breathtaking landscapes from the Parlor or Observation car while savouring refreshing drinks and open-air ambiance. Enjoy a light lunch onboard included in your fare. Upon arrival in Horsham, you'll be transferred to your hotel for check-in, giving you the evening to explore the rural township and unwind after a day of travel.

Discover spectacular sights, including the iconic You Yangs and the picturesque western grazing district. Explore Horsham at your leisure or choose from a selection of optional day tours that match your interests such as a visit to the stunning Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park, known for its breathtaking natural beauty, or the captivating silo art at Hopetoun.

Murtoa's Big Weekend

On 7 October, round trips from Horsham to Murtoa allow you to join in the fun of Murtoa’s Big Weekend, including the Murtoa Cup. Immerse yourself in the heart of the community and experience the bustling 137th Annual A&P Agricultural Show, the MBW Lake Market on Saturday morning, and the excitement of the Murtoa Cup Race Meeting. Explore the heritage-listed Stick Shed, enjoy the Dunmunkle Sumpoilers Historic Engines display, and discover the Water Tower Museum. While in the area, don’t forget to explore the beautiful surrounds of Lake Marma and Rabl Park.
