The desire to go off the grid when you go away and find somewhere unspoiled by others is a massive drawcard for many city-dwellers. If you really wish to switch off and discover what it means to escape then a trip to the Grampians is the perfect solution.

Nestled in the heart of Halls Gap lies DULC luxury eco-cabins. Here you can rest and recharge your batteries away from the crowds. The cabins have been built using rough radial sawn timber inside and out and decked out with all the contemporary goodies you could hope for. While there, you can enjoy burning fireplaces, espresso machines with freshly ground coffee, a hot spa bath and king size beds so comfy it will be hard to leave. Most importantly, of course, you can enjoy a view that looks out into the Victorian bushland, full of beautiful wildflowers and colourful wildlife.

If getting outside is more your kind of thing, enjoy the mountains, lakes and waterfalls around the area. Including the Grampians must-see spots such as Mackenzie Falls, Boroka Lookout and the Pinnacle Walk.

Not only will visitors love the calm serenity of the area, but the Grampians is also responsible for producing some of the best Shiraz in the game. Take a trip to the near-by wine village Great Western, where you can see where some of Australia's oldest vines have been planted. Be sure to stock up on bottles, which you can later pop open and indulge in whilst relaxing on one of the day beds at DULC cabins, while reading a glossy magazine.
