Our mission is to promote the Grampians and Wimmera Mallee regions as a world class travel destination. We are known for our stunning natural beauty, abundant wildlife, rich heritage, unique attractions, and passionate community.

Our primary purpose is to deliver a coordinated approach to marketing, product development, infrastructure investment and industry development for the region, whilst connecting local and state government to tourism stakeholders in our VEP. Our Purpose

Facilitate a cooperative and vibrant visitor economy that supports growth of tourism expenditure and length of stay. We will deliver value to our partners through strategic marketing activity and increased brand awareness.

The Visitor Economy Partnership of Grampians Wimmera Mallee Tourism (GWMT) was established early in 2024 and is the peak industry body for tourism in the Grampians and Wimmera Mallee regions. The area that GWMT represents encompasses 8 Local Government Areas (LGA's) and covers 25% of the state of Victoria.

The organisations is directly supported by Ararat Rural City Council, Horsham Rural City Council, Northern Grampians Shire Council, Southern Grampians Shire Council, Yarriambiack Shire Council, West Wimmera Shire Council, Hindmarsh Shire Council and Buloke Shire Council.

We champion sustainable growth for the region’s visitor economy.
