Wedderburn Hotel is the first and last Hotel on the Wedderburn goldfields.
The original hotel was built in 1855 with bush timber and bark. A stone weatherboard and iron combination followed. For many years, the hotel also boasted extensive stables and a stock sale yard. Farmers would stable their horses at the hotel, attend the sale of sheep or cattle and then refresh themselves at the hotel. The existing hotel was built in 1901 and its basic configuration has remained since then.
These days, customers no longer arrive by horse, but they are still serving up meals and refreshments in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Their venue offers accommodation, catering and function spaces as well.
Whether you are a local, visiting Wedderburn or passing through town, they look forward to welcoming you!
