The Shearer's Quarters
The Shearer’s Quarters is a unique eight-bedroom farm stay, only about a 15 minutes drive to the Grampians National Park. Based on Mount William Station, a working sheep and cattle farm, it was first built in 1869 as a home for shearer’s and workers. The building is set beside a heritage listed bluestone woolshed with Lake Anne only 300 metres away.
The Shearer's Quarters feature a spacious communal living room and kitchen; nestle into the couches in front of a crackling fire and look out onto unbeatable views of the mountains, sip on your morning coffee in the sun-soaked courtyard, or take a walk around the lake and spot the charming farm animals living on your doorstep.
With endless local assets including wineries, hikes and country bakeries, the Shearer’s Quarters is the perfect explorer’s base in one of the most picturesque parts of Victoria.
