A highly rewarding ride for the whole family, this 5 km ride, entirely on gravel paths, will take you around Lake Hamilton with plenty of opportunities to stop and enjoy an abundance of wildlife and the beautiful vistas.

Allow plenty of time when riding with a young family to ensure you can enjoy a play the Lakes Edge Adventure Playground. Lake Hamilton in a man-made lake, created in 1977 by the damming of the Grange Burn.

Lake Hamilton is popular with residents and visitors alike for picnics, walking, cycling, fishing and other water based activities.
