Contact Lake Bolac
When full Lake Bolac is around 6-7 feet deep and is a popular boating, fishing and sailing area. Located on Glenelg Highway/Ararat-Mortlake Road it is within easy driving distance to the Grampians National Park and The Great Ocean Road.
Lake Bolac is a traditional gathering place for indigenous people. Each year in Autumn the Lake Bolac Eel festival celebrates its indigenous culture with aboriginal ceremonies, live music, art exhibitions, markets and more.
Fishing: Catch yellow-belly, redfin, perch or short-finned eel
