YHA Grampians Eco (Halls Gap) is an award-winning, environmentally friendly, hostel-style retreat in Halls Gap, close to all the attractions of the Grampians.
It has two fully equipped kitchens, and two spacious lounges with wood heaters as well as an outdoor courtyard with a fire pit. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the property, fresh eggs from the on-site chickens, and a herb garden to enjoy too. The friendly staff can assist you in organising a range of adventure activities in the Grampians, such as abseiling, rock climbing, horse riding, and canoeing.
YHA Grampians Eco was architecturally designed to utilise solar hot water, rainwater tanks and greywater recycling, along with a passive solar design and clever zoning techniques to use 50% less energy and generate 50% less waste than similar businesses. The YHA has also proudly achieved Sustainable Tourism Certification through Ecotourism Australia, reflecting its strong commitment to environmental conservation and community engagement.
Perfectly situated for access to attractions in the Grampians National Park, YHA Grampians is the perfect base for exploring Reid's Lookout, Aboriginal rock art and nearby waterfalls.
