Dispatches From the Frontline

Contact Dispatches From the Frontline

Dispatches from the Frontline is a performed reading by Geraldine Cook-Dafner of excerpts from the diary of a Victorian nurse, Sister Nan Reay.

Sister Reay was born in Coleraine, trained at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and served for four grueling years behind the frontlines of the battlefields of WW1. These “dispatches” celebrate this nurse’s duty, personal resilience, courage and tenacity; traits that resonate in these current troubled times of war.
