Sip and Savour – The Grampians Way

7 May 2020

Like us, we know many of you were disappointed not to have spent last weekend at the Grampians Grape Escape. But one of the positives of isolation is the chance to slow down and savour all you can enjoy at home, including great wine.

For an immersive at-home wine experience we suggest you tour our acclaimed vineyards virtually, while you sip. Discover their specialties, learn about their rich histories, or explore the new winemakers innovating across the region. Known for our diversity, we’re certain our winemakers will have something for you to fall in love with. Order online for now and make notes on the places you’d most like to visit once we’re able to welcome you back to our cellar doors.

If you’re a fan of Shiraz….

You’re in for a treat…. the Grampians is famed for its elegant, spicy Shiraz. For the ultimate indulgence, try the Mount Langi Ghiran Mast Shiraz. For those lucky enough to be within 80km, they are also offering free delivery of their Picnic Idyll Grazing Range. Their cellar door team are happy to chat and give recommendations, so give them a buzz if you want to explore some of Australia’s best cool climate wines.

If you’re craving the refreshment of a Riesling…

Montara’s is one of the region’s most awarded, rated 96 points by James Halliday. Their Riesling is full of personality, much like their dynamic young team and Friday “Wine Down” sessions. A must visit for music lovers and fans of innovation (once we can reopen).

They are also offering an amazing COVID isolation pack which allows you to sample a range of their award-winning wines. Named “Cellar Door with Best Food” by Gourmet Traveller Wine, they are currently amid a spectacular renovation – this is certainly one to add to your post-isolation winery bucket list.
