1. Have an Animal Encounter at Halls Gap Zoo

With the school holidays set to kick off on the 24th of this month, it's great to know that the kids will be well and truly entertained at Halls Gap Zoo! Open 7 days from 10 am till 5 pm, take your time meandering through the amazing property, feeding the free-roaming deer along the way.

Take your animal experience to the next level and book an up-close encounter with a giraffe, a rhino or a red panda and many more, beat the queues and grab your tickets online before you go!

2. Dine Underground at Seppelt Wines

This coming Friday the 13th why not get a little dark and dine underground at Seppelt Wines?!

Descend beneath the winery into the Seppelt Wines heritage-listed underground cellars 'The Drives' for a personally guided tour before arriving at the famous 'Brandy Nook'.

Seppelt Wines chefs will be preparing an exceptional three-course meal, paired brilliantly with Seppelt Foundation Wines.

3. Try a Grampians Treasure Hunt as a guest of Halls Gap Lakeside

Halls Gap Lakeside Tourist Park is just about booked out already for this school holidays but guests of the park are in for a treat with the new, Grampians Treasure Hunts geocaching adventure trail exclusive to guests. It's free to play and with fun themes like Let Kids Be Kids, families will have a whole new way to discover even more around the region.

Fulfill tasks, collect letters, collect a little treasure or enter the draw to win! All you have to do is download the app, pack some water and snacks and get on your way!

4. Experience the Grampians from the air with Grampians Helicopters

This month on the AFL grand final weekend Grampians Helicopters will be offering 15-minute joy flights.

Running on Friday, 27th from 3pm - 6pm from the Halls Gap Golf Course, jump in with local knowledge guru Justin and learn all about the region as you experience the breathtaking bird-eye views.



5. Go for ride on the wild side with Grampians Trike Tours

Grampians Trike Tours offers the unique experience of touring in and around the magnificent Grampians Mountain Range while seated comfortably on the two seats at the rear of the Boom Mustang Trike.

Set on one hectare in Halls Gap, in the heart of the magnificent Grampians National Park, Grampians Adventure Golf is an 18-hole mini-course themed around some of the more popular local icons such as Mt William, The Pinnacle and the Grand Canyon to name just a few.

Finish up at the 19th hole at the clubhouse and enjoy whilst light lunches are served in the Café and the Café Gardens.

9. Enjoy the AFL Grand final weekend at Pomonal Estate

From 2 pm - 6 pm on grand final day watch the match from one of the two large 55-inch screens on offer at Pomonal Estate as you munch on quintessential footy food like pies, sausage rolls, hot dogs and hot chips and sip on house-crafted ale.

With a half-time Longest Torpedo comp and all the atmosphere you can hope for; this is the next best thing to being at the MCG!



10. Check out the Grampians Wildflower Show

It's Springtime in the Grampians and the wildflowers are starting to bloom! On September 28 and 29, celebrate the wonderful flowers of the Grampians National Park and nearby forests at the annual Grampians Wildflower Show where there will be flower displays, experts to help you identify flowers, a display of local indigenous food plants, works from local artist John Tiddy and renowned textile artist Lynn Stone.

Plus tag along drives and free walks to show off the flora in the local botanic gardens.
