Waterfalls

Waterfalls Overview

Break up your hiking adventures in the Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park with a picnic at one of the region's pristine waterfalls.

Take the road from Halls Gap to Wartook Valley to see the iconic MacKenzie Falls, one of the largest and most spectacular waterfalls in Victoria. Or venture to a true hidden gem of the Grampians, the newly opened track to The Lower Waterfalls of Gar. A part of the Grampians Peaks Trail, this walk offers unforgettable waterfall views.

Alternatively, head north to Beehive Falls and watch the water drop 25 metres into the rock pools below, wander from the Wonderland carpark to the serene Splitters Falls or take the fern-laden trail south to Silverband Falls, just fifteen minutes' drive from Halls Gap.

Visiting the Southern Grampians? The Hamilton area is home to two waterfalls fed by the Wannon River – Wannon Falls and Nigretta Falls.
